The conversion of the former Glass Works Development involved the refurbishment and modification of the former Land Rover dealership into commercial units, introducing a number of hybrid commercial units across the site.

The original steel portal frame was modified to suit the desired layout and new elevation treatments and openings.

Due to the nature of the underlying strata, the new hybrid buildings required piling in some areas. Where rock was shallow, traditional trench fill foundations were adopted.
