Residential
We support both small and large developers in creating new residential schemes, combining structural design of superstructures and foundations with civil engineering infrastructure including drainage strategies, cut and fill modelling, external works, and adoptable highway and drainage designs (S38, S104, S278). For conversions and change of use, we provide structural assessments and additional floor design where feasible, with civils input covering reconfigured drainage and external works to facilitate planning and delivery.
Domestic
We work alongside Architects and homeowners to deliver newbuild dwellings of all sizes, providing structural calculations together with civil engineering input such as drainage strategies, external levels and SuDS solutions to satisfy Planning and Building Regulations. For extensions and modifications, we design structural alterations such as wall removals while also addressing civils requirements including drainage alterations and external level adjustments. We also carry out property inspections and surveys to assess defects such as subsidence or cracking, supported by drainage condition surveys and capacity checks for those buying or selling homes.
Commercial
Our commercial experience spans retail, office, student accommodation, hotels, multistorey car parks and large-scale conversions. We provide structural solutions alongside civil engineering design for access, drainage, levels and public realm works. In the education sector, we support schools and universities with alterations, extensions and modular classrooms, integrating civils services such as flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, car park layouts and sports pitches designed to Sport England standards.
Healthcare
We deliver structural and civil engineering services to support hospital and healthcare projects, from ward refurbishments and building extensions to the installation of heavy medical equipment. Industrial
For industrial and logistics projects, we design portal frame and steel-framed structures, foundations and slabs tailored to ground conditions, supported by civils design for site infrastructure. This includes access roads, cut and fill strategies, drainage networks, utility coordination, and heavy-duty yard and pavement design for industrial estates, ports and distribution centres.
